Doug joined Tri Star Restaurant Group in Honolulu in 1991 as a sophomore at the University of Hawaii and worked his way up through the ranks. He re-located to Maui in 2001 and was a Captain & Wine Director. Doug was named General Manager of Nick's Fishmarket Maui in 2004 and is responsible for creating and maintaining all the company's wine programs. He is a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers Fan and travels to about 4 games per season, throughout the country. He is also a Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers as of 2006.
